Margarete Disque graduated from Alternatives for Health in June of 2003. In the summer of 2004, Margarete and her mother Donna decided to open Les Champs Elysees Day Spa and Salon. Margarete and Donna have used Aveda products for the last 15 years and absolutely love Aveda products and services. It has been an exciting roller coaster ride and last year they decided to open th e John Edward hair salon on 4th and Indiana in Bloomington. Hannah Baker graduated from cosmetology school in Spring, 2006. She started working at Les Champs Elysees Day Spa and Salon in January of 2007 and has enjoyed every minute! As our Aveda in-salon cutting coach, Hannah specializes in detailed precision and texturized cuts and color. Also, Hannah is experienced in formal and bridal styles. Misty Swartzentruber graduated from Tri-State Beauty College in Evansville, IN. Misty recently relocated to Martinsville, IN, when her husband accepted the position as the new baseball coach at the Martinsville High School. Misty has worked in professional Aveda salons for the last 6 years, specializing in difficult haircuts and color corrections. Heather Oliver graduated from A Cut Above Beauty College for esthtics and Bedford Beauty College for her nail tech license. Heather has been with Les Champs Elysees Day spa and salon since April of 2008. Jeremy Weaver, NCTMB, is a native of Southern Indiana, but attended massage therapy school at the Heritage Institute - Ft. Myers Campus. Jeremy has been with Les Champs Elysees Day salon and spa since December of 2007, and enjoys his position as a massage therapist. Chelsea Langley was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated from the Indiana Cosmetology Academy. Carla Swanson recently joined the team at Les Champs Elysees and John Edward Hair Salon and Spa. Carla graduated from the Aveda Institue in Chapel Hill 5 years ago as an esthetician. Liesel Nicholson is a graduate from Amber's beauty college and Healthy Lifestyle School of Massage in Muncie, IN. Liesel has been in the salon industry for nine years and has been working with the team since June 2009. Liesel is a licensed nail technician, massage therapist and stylist. Tomoko Nakagawa has been a stylist for many years specializing in Asian styling. Tomoko joined our team in November 2004 and has earned a wonderful, professional reputation in the Asian community here in Bloomington. She has attended many Aveda further education classes to update herself on the Aveda color. She travels to Japan frequently to study the new Aveda Asian styles and trends. Suzy is thrilled to be a part of the Les Champs Elysees team. In May of 2007, Suzy graduated from IU with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design, an Associates Degree in Costume Construction Technology. While at IU, Suzy's love for hair and makeup developed from her experiences in working with several theatre and opera productions and also from her freelance make up opportunities. Suzy became certified in Advanced make up artistry, photo shoot imagery and airbrush makeup makeup in 2003 from Karen Hann and Co and has worked with several clients including: Sports Illustrated, Quick & Simple magazine, Colts Cheerleaders 2007 calendar, Fox 59, Taylor Swift Olymic "Change" music video and many more. Lindsey Granger graduated from Amber's Beauty College in Muncie, IN. She has been working with the team since October 2007.
